Poverty

So, I listened to this program on NPR (national public radio) talking about poverty in our area. A couple of people decided to live for three weeks on the same amount of money people below the poverty line would have. It was way profound and stuff, they went without things and realized how hard it could be. Ben and I talked about how hard it would have to be and that life would feel like a dead end. Later, while managing my finances, I realized that we live on less than the people in the program were allotted. I really feel rich but apparently, I'm not. At least in money, but I'm rich in resources and opportunities which must make the difference. I'll let you know when we move above the poverty line.
